Cambridge Festival 2021

In March of 2021, Cohort 1 participated in the online Cambridge Science Festival. Both live and uploaded events were prepared and presented. Downloadable games and activities were available, allowing children to build their own reactors and learn more about energy usage and production. Online games, including a virtual escape room and fiendish nuclear quiz were also available, alongside prerecorded videos.

Live events were held during the festival week. Three different talks were given, the first on low carbon energy, the second on the safety of nuclear power stations and the final on fission.
