Procrastin-nation, a PhD Poem

A Poem By Cameron Sanderson

Published on 06th August, 2020

Daydreaming - on another planet,

Hot afternoons wasted - damnit,

Struggling to prepare and plan it,

Can’t get too hung up on it though - calm it.

Why’s the weather got to be so good,

When I’m in a productive mood?

Oh it’s so lovely - get a cuppa and food,

Then sit out way longerth’n I should.

Got to stay on task and focused,

Has my attention span been eaten by locusts?

Wish I could cast a spell like focus-pocus;

Productivity’s extinct as a Diplodocus.
